Three Fundemental Precepts

by admin on June 5, 2011

As we navigate this path called life, Zen master Maurine Stuart Roshi (1922-1990) awakens us with three very simple and clear directions. “Refrain from bad acts. Do good acts as much as possible. Keep your mind pure and warm.” She notes that when our minds are cleared out we cannot hurt anyone because we are truly in touch with our interrelatedness.

We can choose our path in this world as well as our reactions to others. Find the freedom in savoring each moment and in letting it all be.

Namaste, Ghasso and Peace
